There was an outage of JLab Central Computing Services today
(Tuesday, Sept. 6) that started around noon. <br>
<br>
The outage was the result of a software problem with a central file
server. We have worked with the vendor to restore functionality of
the file server, and we began restoring central services around 1:15
p.m. <br>
<br>
As of 2 p.m., email, printing, Windows AD Services, most MIS
applications and other services were restored.<br>
<br>
A patch has been provided by the vendor, and it will be applied at
5:15 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, Sept. 6) during the maintenance period.<br>
