Sent on behalf of IT

Beginning Thursday (Oct. 6) morning, Jefferson Lab's IT Division
will automatically move the contents of excessively large e-mail
Inboxes into folders.

No emails will be deleted or lost in this process.

The purpose in doing this is to improve the speed and efficiency of
the lab's e-mail system.

Excessively large Inboxes bog down the system, especially when
sitewide e-mails are sent out.

If you have an excessively large e-mail Inbox, your files will be
moved to a folder located in the left-hand column of Thunderbird.

The folder will be labeled so that you can identify it.

Additionally, those whose Inboxes are moved will receive an e-mail
providing them with further details, such as the name of the folder
containing their old Inbox contents.
