[All_staff] Vacation Donation Program Enrolllment - Last Day to Donate Hours

Colleagues:

The Vacation Donation open enrollment session will be closing this 
evening, Friday, November 18, 2011. 

If you are interested in donating vacation hours you have accrued to the 
Vacation Donation Program please act soon.  As a reminder, the program 
is in place to support employees who are experiencing a serious medical 
condition or catastrophic illness or injury, or who are caring for an 
immediate family member with these conditions and confronted with a 
financial need due to the exhaustion of all paid leave.

During open enrollment eligible employees will have the opportunity to 
anonymously donate vacation time in four (4) hour increments to the 
vacation donation bank. The program requires donors to maintain a 
minimum vacation balance of 80 hours. Once the session closes Friday, 
November 18, all donated hours will be held in the centralized vacation 
bank for use when an eligible employee applies and is approved to become 
a beneficiary of the program.
