[All_staff] Message from Jerry Draayer: Reveley named new JSA Board chairman

Dear colleague,

I am pleased to announce that William & Mary President Taylor Reveley has accepted SURA's appointment to a seat on the Board of Jefferson Science Associates, the Management & Operating contractor for Jefferson Lab. He will serve as the Board Chairman and as a member of the JSA Compensation Committee and JSA Relations & Outreach Committee. 

Following the tradition of his predecessors on the JSA Board, President Reveley will continue to bring the strong leadership to JSA to ensure the Lab's preeminence among the national lab system and internationally. Then UVa President, John Casteen set the course from 2006 to 2010 guiding the newly formed JSA. Recently retired VA Tech President Charles Steger took over the reins from 2010 until earlier this summer. We now look forward to the sustaining leadership that President Reveley will bring to the Board and are delighted that he has agreed to accept this responsibility. 

The Lab will host the JSA Board of Directors for its meeting on October 13.
