*Appointment Times Available for Jan. 8 Mobile Mammogram Unit at 
Jefferson Lab*

The Sentara Mobile Mammography Unit will be at Jefferson Lab on Friday, 
Jan 8, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. This important medical diagnostic service only 
takes 15 minutes and is open to all lab employees as well as their 
family members and friends as personal health insurances will be billed.

The American Cancer Society recommends that women with an average risk 
of breast cancer should undergo regular screening mammography starting 
at age 45.

Appointments are required. To take advantage of this convenient service, 
make an appointment by visiting:

*Red Cross Blood Drive Set for Jan. 26 at Lab*

The next American Red Cross Blood Drive will take place at JLab on 
Tuesday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in CEBAF Center, Room F113. New 
and repeat donors are encouraged to attend.

*It’s Not Too Late to Get a Seasonal Flu Vaccine *

Occupational Medicine is accepting appointments from Jefferson Lab staff 
for Influenza vaccinations. If you would like to be vaccinated, contact 
Occupational Medicine at ext. 7539 to schedule an appointment.

Keep in mind that for 15 minutes after vaccination you should remain at 
the lab, in the presence of other people and avoid safety-sensitive 
activities, including driving.
