This should read....TUESDAY, September 19. My apologies for any confusion.
Colleagues,
This year marks the fifth year of Jefferson Lab’s Laboratory Directed
Research and Development (LDRD) program. As was done last year, the
Principal Investigators on the projects active during the fiscal year
that is drawing to a close will present posters summarizing their
projects and be available to discuss their work in the Atrium of CEBAF
Center on Thursday, September 19^th from noon to 1 PM.We will also use
the occasion to announce (at about 12:30) the LDRD projects that will be
funded in FY2018.
LDRD aims to stimulate research in new directions relevant to our
Strategic Plan, and to provide opportunities to recognize innovative
staff. Each year we solicit proposals and have a detailed peer review
process to choose the projects to be funded. The four projects that have
been underway this year are listed below.Do stop by and learn how these
projects are helping the laboratory progress toward its plans for the
future.
