**Important Information**
Question: When do I have to reduce my vacation balance to 240
hours?
Answer: The maximum vacation leave balance
for
employees hired before October 5, 2006 will be reduced to 240
hours on
midnight December 31, 2011 as opposed to May 31, 2011.
This allows employees 6 additional months to reduce their
vacation accrual balance to
240. Therefore, everyone should plan and manage vacation time
accordingly.
