General Access Radiological Work Permit is now available for
signature. The date of this document is a little earlier than in
years past. The current General Access RWP will expire on
January 10, 2011 at noon. The new 2011 General Access RWP is
effective from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2011. <br>

<div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial">If you are a
radiation worker, to retain your accelerator site access, you
must sign the new RWP before noon on January 10, 2011. To access
the RWP, visit the web-based training page and open document
SAF801kd (under the subheading "Documents"). You may access/sign
this document from offsite. The JLab web-based training page is

changes to the permit:<br>

- the only metal that is now subject to the recycling suspension
is scrap metal released from radiation, high radiation and
contamination areas; metals released from other areas are no
longer subject to the restriction.</font></div>
<div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial">-- LCW Systems - a
slight change was made to clarify that *all* piping and
components from low-conductivity water systems serving the beam
enclosure are subject to radiological clearance, not just the
parts of the systems located in the enclosure.</font></div>
