Dear Colleagues,<br>

In December 2010, The Department of Energy announced a two year salary <br>
freeze for its contractors while still allowing for some promotions.
We <br>
are in the second year of the freeze and have been approved to offer a <br>
salary adjustment program as we did in the previous year. The <br>
adjustments will average approximately 1.5% and vary based on <br>
eligibility, current salary level, and market comparisons. The salary <br>
adjustments and promotions are effective March 1, 2012 and will be <br>
reflected in paychecks April 1, 2012.<br>

Human Resources will be distributing letters to all employees by the
end <br>
of March. <br>
