As a result of the Lab's delayed opening today, Monday, March 25,
2013, due to possible hazardous conditions from inclement weather,
employees are to follow the guidelines below for recording time:

All Staff:
If you were already scheduled for vacation/sick leave today, Monday,
March 25th, then enter your hours accordingly as vacation/sick
leave. The late start does not affect your time entries. Employees
must have reported to work today in order to receive up to three
hours of paid Weather/Public Emergency Leave; otherwise, vacation
(or leave without pay if vacation leave is exhausted) must be
charged.

Students and Casuals:
Record actual hours worked on Monday, March 25th, as normal.
Students and Casuals are not eligible for any type of leave.

Non-Exempt Staff:
Record actual hours worked on Monday, March 25th, as normal. The
remainder of your scheduled work day should be charged either to
Weather/Public Emergency Leave (up to three hours) or vacation
accordingly. If you worked eight hours, then no leave should be
charged. Record eight hours of vacation/sick leave if you were
already scheduled for vacation/sick leave.

Exempt Staff:
If you record productive time by day, record your actual hours
worked on Monday, March 25th. The remainder of your scheduled work
day should be charged either to Weather/Public Emergency Leave (up
to three hours) or vacation accordingly. If you worked eight hours,
no leave should be charged. Record eight hours to vacation/sick
leave if you were already scheduled for vacation/sick leave.
If you record productive time with percentages, record up to three
hours on Monday, March 25th, to Weather/Public Emergency Leave or
vacation accordingly. If you worked eight hours, no leave should be
charged. Complete your percentages as usual at the end of the pay
period. If you were already scheduled for vacation/sick leave,
record eight hours to vacation/sick leave.
