Sent on behalf of JLab's Chief Financial Officer, Joe Scarcello:<br>

Good Morning,<br>
<br>
New account numbers have been set up for Electronic Data Processing
(EDP) Hardware in order for JLab to meet a new DOE reporting
requirement for EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment
Tool). To meet these requirements, the old EDP Hardware account
code (47-010) is no longer valid. Please choose from one of the
following account code numbers to order EDP type equipment:<br>
<br>
- <b>47-020 Imaging Devices</b>: Printers, Copiers, Scanners, Fax
Machines, other imaging devices.<br>
<br>
- <b>47-021 Display Devices</b>: Monitors, Flat Screens,
Projectors, Televisions, other display devices.<br>
<br>
- <b>47-022 Computers</b>: Desktops, Laptops, Servers,
Workstations, Tablets.<br>
<br>
- <b>47-025 Other EDP Equipment</b>: Items that do not fit into
other 47-XXX series: Keyboards, Mice, Hard Drives, Thumb drives,
DVD, etc.<br>
<br>
EPEAT is a comprehensive environmental rating system that helps
identify greener computers and other electronic equipment. This
program, managed by the Environmental Protection Agency, enables
purchasers to compare electronic products based on environmental
performance standards, as well as cost and performance
considerations. An Executive Order, signed by President Bush in
January 2007, requires government agencies to acquire
EPEAT-registered products for at least 95 percent of electronic
product acquisitions.<br>
<br>
Thank you in advance in helping JLab meet these requirements.<br>
