is absent, the supervisor should complete and sign the
employee’s timesheet by this<font face="Helvetica, Arial,
sans-serif"> </font>same deadline. As a reminder, employees
should be completing their timesheets <font face="Helvetica,
Arial, sans-serif">on their last work day of the timesheet
period. The timesheet can be signed <font face="Helvetica,
Arial, sans-serif">before the end of the period as long as
downtime (<font face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">vacation,
sick leave<font face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">, etc)
is charged<font face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"> for
the remainder of the period. </font></font></font></font></font><br>

<b>Supervisor and project manager approvals</b> on these
timesheets <b>are due to Finance no later than<font
face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"> </font>2 p.m. on <font
face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"><font face="Helvetica,
Arial, sans-serif">Monday, August 3rd</font></font><font
face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"><font face="Helvetica,
Arial, sans-serif"></font></font></b>. <font
face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">We have a<font
face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">n early month-end close
in August, so it is crucial that timesheets are completed by
the deadlines.<br>

</font></font>As a reminder, Jefferson Lab does not have
compensatory time as a form of payment for overtime. Please
remember that for non-exempts, your timesheet should always
reflect your actual work and leave time for the period; and for
exempts, your timesheet should always reflect your work prorated
as required and your actual leave time for the period. For
those who supervise students and casuals, sign their timesheets
even if they did not have time for this period.<br>
