Fulvia joined the laboratory during the 12 GeV upgrade of the accelerator, and she immediately set to work to ensure that all accelerator installation activities were smoothly integrated and to ensure that testing and commissioning activities did not adversely affect the ongoing experimental program. She also led the detailed design effort of the Jefferson Lab electron-ion collider, applying her expertise in accelerator physics, in-depth grasp of engineering and cost consequences of technical choices with her ability in forging strong collaborations to the benefit of the project. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-1.5pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white;mso-fareast-language:EN-US'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-1.5pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white;mso-fareast-language:EN-US'>Fulvia has made lasting contributions to the international accelerator physics community, as well.
