Dear APEX collaboration,

We have great news!  At the PAC 37 meeting, the APEX proposal received a
scientific rating of "A".  We have been awarded the full beam time
requested, and we have been approved with the recommendation to the Lab
management to run as soon as possible, even before the 12 GeV upgrade.
There will be a technical review set up to review the radiation levels.

We would like to thank all of you and the Hall A collaboration for
the invaluable support APEX received during the test run, without
which our collaboration would not have been able to address the PAC 35
concerns that led to approval.

We also thank our readers, Reinhard Beck and Bill Marciano, as well as
Bob McKeown and the whole PAC 37 for their great efforts in evaluating
and supporting the proposal.
