[APEX] apex prl paper

Hi Bogdan,

I was meaning to respond to you about this last week.  Congratulations.  
More than most experiments, this represents the culmination of a unique 
effort.  Your fellow sopkespersons were all new to the lab, and the 
measurement was also different and unique.  You had to put a lot of 
personal effort on the experiment, and getting it published is a real 
coup.  You should be proud -- this is really nice work.  I am glad to be 
part of the collaboration.
