I'm on "vacation" in Brooklyn, Michigan at the Formula SAE Michigan competition. ODU has an entry this year and things seem to be going rather well for us. We were one of 21 teams to make it through mechanical tech on the first day (Wednesday), made it through

 all other tech inspections Thursday, and successfully competed in all 3 dynamic events Friday. We were in the top half of teams in all three dynamic events; there are typically around 120 teams from all over the world, but this year they seem to be mostly

 from North and South America. <br class="ContentPasted0">

All the cars at this competition are student-designed, student-built, and student-raced projects that get many thousands of hours of work put into them. I've included some pictures of other teams' cars and a picture of our team (fingers crossed all 5 pictures

 go through). </div>

<div class="elementToProof ContentPasted0" style="font-size:12pt;margin:0px">Our last event is endurance which happens today (Saturday) and we expect to run sometime around noon. Typically, the comparable Formula Student events in Europe broadcast endurance

 online, so I might send a follow-up email in the morning with a link to the endurance race, if that is something the organizers have started doing here, for anyone interested in watching. We are car 106. <br>

Overall, I'm glad to hear of the Run A Round turnout and would happily join in Williamsburg if I was in town. </div>
