Dear Elton,
thanks for your reply.
Here below some clarifications.

I did not mean to 'measure' the cosmic at JLab with the prototype but
simulate the prototype response in CT/LNS and JLab/CT configurations, to
show that simulations provide the same rates. In fact, while the
overburden is more favourable at JLab (or we can always do that) the
presence of the close by shaft (used to lift the detector) may provide
additional bg not accounted for in CT/LNS config.
I think that if we should show that this effect is negligible (comparing
results with the prototype in both situations). After proving that, we
can only focus on results obtained on the full detector (JLab Proposal)
to obtain any results.

so far, the wall thikness is as reported but there is no roof in the
detector-house. We can easily sell the (ext house roof + ext house flor+
detector house roof) 30+30+0 cm with 15+30+15 cm.
I agree that we may want to study the effect of changing the overburden
(again using simulations) assuming that the shielding factor can be
correctly obtained from the simulations.

We'll start the discussion tomorrow but obviously we can come back on
this point later or have a dedicated meeting if you want.
Cheers
