Dear Elton,
thanks for the update.
We'll check once again that the measurement locations (the two wells 
position) are what we wanted (compatible with reasonable rates).
They are probably right, but in case something need to be changed we'll 
let you know asap.
We do not if you have the top-flange of the vessel in your hands for 
further machining but I guess any actions will happen after the Xmas brake.
Yesterday we discussed our shift plans concluding the following:
- I and/or Mariangela will be on-site from Tue 9 (at least), to (at 
least) the 19th to work on the detector: reassemble, checkout and test. 
The goal is to have the BDX-Hodo and the DAQ  fully operational taking 
cosmic data by the end of Jan.
- Mariangela (and if necessary Marzio and probably Andrea) from Jan the 
19th to the 26th (or more) to help Tim and Tom with the mechanics: test 
the detector handling system
We would keep as baseline dates for tests Feb 20- March 2nd as most 
probable weeks (to be sure that the wells are dug, the detector handling 
system is done and the machine delivers 10 GeV). It may be possible an 
update in mid Jan when the acc will be resumed. I heard rumors that the 
tritium run (in Hall-A) that requires low energy will be reporposed till 
the end of Jan (since no data were taken in December). This means that 
Hall A will get the high energy in Feb. We'll see in January.
