[BDXlist] Estimates of neutrino fluxes

Hi all,

I have been thinking about the neutrino background spectra for BDX (and
DRIFT), considering some of Roger's arguments. I have uploaded some
slides to the wiki at
https://wiki.ge.infn.it/hps/images/c/cd/Enu_flux_estimates2.pdf.

First I compare ratios of (production target)/(beam dump) and show that
for the booster neutrino beamline at Fermilab most of the neutrinos come
from the target, but for the MOLLER/Hall A configuration (BDX) roughly
equal numbers come from target and dump.

Second, from inspection of our estimated neutrino fluxes, it seems that
the spectra is dominated by neutrinos from muon pair production (not
pion and kaon decay). It would be interesting for Andrea to check the
parent source of neutrinos in the spectra.

I have linked the slides to the meeting on Thursday and I can go over
them if there is time.

Cheers, Elton.
