Dear all,
in preparation for the meeting today (at which time it is Marco?), I
send you a pdf file where you see, for each SiPM (1..8) and for each
cosmic muon trajectory (1..19) the comparison between data (black) and
MC (red).
The horizontal scale is in phe
The verticale scale is absolute, in Hz / phe, as obtained from data and
from MC (in other words, there are no ad-hoc correction factors for the
normalization)
The agreement is pretty good for almost all channels. Note that in MC I
don't have yet any spread in the phe number (the only spread being to
different energy depositions by cosmic rays). I am working on this.
For those cases where the is no agreement, I set the MC so that the phe
response from MC is larger than the data response. This corresponds to a
larger threshold in MC than in the data, hence, when evaluating the
signal efficiency, to a conservative choice.
Talk to you later
Andrea
