[Bonuslist] Today's BoNuS meeting

Dear Bonusites,

today's meeting was very sparsely attended - only Nate, Jixie and myself showed up. On one hand, this is probably a sign that people think that BoNuS business is done (NOT SO FAST!!!), and on the other hand, it shows that maybe we really only need to meet every other week for now.
So I would like to cancel next week's meeting (unless there is an urgent need to meet). Our next meeting will be either 2 weeks from today or even later (depending on demand and availability of people).
Here a few announcements:
1) Keith is the only candidate for the invited talk at the Paris meeting of the CLAS collaboration in March. He is hereby selected as our speaker and I will inform the organizers.
2) We got a short statement from Alexandre (chair of the PWG review committee) that they got our message and will start reviewing our analysis again. I will let everyone know once we get feedback from them.
3) Nate has updated Fig. 3 and some minor changes in the PRL. The "authoritative" version of all files is now (and will remain for the foreseeable future) at
http://www.jlab.org/~baillie/BoNuSPRL/
If you have made any last-minute changes since last week, you might want to let Nate know so he can incorporate them. If you would LIKE to make changes, ditto. Note that Nate will implement our requests for the remaining figures within the next 1-2 weeks and then we will update the posted version on the review website at http://www.jlab.org/Hall-B/secure/bonus/publication/bonuspub.html
4) For the future, BoNuS meetings will focus on the other 2 outstanding planned publications: The long paper (with Slava as lead author) and the exclusive pi- channel (with Jixie as lead author). Of course, we will continue to shepherd the PRL through the CLAS hurdles, and we will clean up some loose ends of the analysis (especially the F2d model in light of new Hall C data).
5) I am forwarding an announcement from the organizers of DIS2011:

The first day will be devoted to plenary review talks, followed by three days of parallel sessions and a few remaining plenary and all summary talks the final day. Anyone who would like to present BoNuS results should let all of us know. (Note you also need to inform the PWG and the CSC if you want to submit an abstract). Also note the stipulation: The results have to be "new". I presented preliminary BoNuS results in Madrid 2 years ago, so arguably our results are now more "final". However, to make the presentation reasonably interesting, it should probably contain a comparison to parametrizations (CTEQ6x etc.) or Malace data etc., and more detailed comparison of nuclear effects with theoretical models (e.g., cos(th_pq)-dependence).

That's all for today - Sebastian
