Overnight, brought in beam to tagger and then FC. It was difficult to center beam on target due to BPMS https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3819226

05:00 After the target scan using 2c24A, Stepan suggested to use x=-0.1 and y=-+1.0 (mm) as nominal position to run for now until BPM 2H01 is fixed.

05:55 Had some lifetime issue on DAQ (couldn't see that nor trigger rate) S. Boyarinov worked on it https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3819273

07:31 MCC calls. After talking with BPM expert who suggested using BPM 2H00 today until tomorrow when he can calibrate 2H01. Said 2H00 is reliable as long as we run at least 7 nA for beam current. 

08:00 E. Pasyuk on expert shift, helping with B-field study. Target at about 65psi. 

09:47 E. Pasyuk discussed 70% livetime with S. Boyarinov. He found that this is coming from the micromegas (crates mvt1 and mvt2), based on the beam current (10 nA) and trigger rate (5 kHz). Will try lowering beam current to 8 nA to see how much that can help.

10:15 RICH roc (rich4) busy. Working on rebooting that and recovered it.    

10:40 Got beam current reduced to 8 nA. Lifetime went to about 80% and rate went to about 4.4 kHz.

11:18 M. Hattawy analyzes and summarizes B-field and HV scan for RTPC https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3819413

12:51 MCC calls to inform that they are going to set up beam for Hall C, which could take about 10 minutes or so. Beam was having a considerable amount of trips prior to the call https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3819458

13:15 Beam returns to hall. 

14:30 Beam down as MCC prepares beam for Hall C.

15:07 Touch base with MCC on ETA for beam returning. They said they're trying to track down recent beam scraping and it may take a little while.

15:18 Crew Chief informed us that an expert will come by in about an hour to work on the BPMs. 

15:32 MCC returns beam. Will take some runs until BPM expert shows up.

16:48 MCC calls to let us know expert is going to start working on BPM 2H01.

17:23 MCC tells us they're done working on calibrating BPM 2H01. M. Hattawy made a quick access to check on HV power supply for RTPC, which wasn't responding from the counting room.

17:50 Taking final run for RTPC HV scan. Plan is to then do a harp scan for 2C24 and 2H01. After that redo target scan.
