[Bonuslist] Daily RC Report August 16th, 2020

Hi All,

this is the status and report of the BONuS experiment (Run Group F), Sunday, August 16th, 2020

The night was good, but the day started regular, improved along the day.

  *   Owl:
     *   a quiet night, 200nA at 10.4 GeV over Deuterium with ~33M events registered
     *   it was reported that the beam viewer camera and others were unavailable https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3828426
  *   Day:
     *   we can call that it was a quieter shift --> CHL trip at 08:00 -> no beam until 15:20
     *   target was purged ~13:30
     *    tune beam start ~15:30
  *   Swing:
     *   tune beam finish ~17:00. Ready to run.
     *   Jerry G. noticed unfamiliar behaviour in the RTPC occupancies plot https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3828813
        *   Jiwan P. was called to check it.
        *   It was determined that it was due to the slow current ramp up used to avoid overshoots
           *   Let me notice that I was not aware either informed about this change in the beam delivery. Nevertheless, since this procedure, apparently, won't affect the experiment (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3828808) and it is a safer procedure for the RTPC, I didn't change it.
     *   200nA at 10.4 GeV over Deuterium with ~22M events registered

Stepan S. suggested to consider the position of the half-wave plate next time we run a moller and procure to measure opposite to the previous one. There is a table in the wiki to keep track of the measurement for the shift takers (https://wiki.jlab.org/clas12-run/index.php/Run_Group_F#Schedule)
