Things have gone well in preparing the accelerator, for Hall B. Still planning to send (1-pass) beam tomorrow during day shift. With a down cavity trip rates may increase by about 1 or 2 per hour. 

Tuning (higher current) for Hall C might get delayed some due to a DC power supply (BS3YC) issue that requires repair/replacement. 

Hall B lock up at 15:00 today. After Hall D, plan is for beam to be sent to Hall B tagger sometime during swing today or owl tomorrow. Eugene and Stepan are on stand-by in case they are needed to help.  

RTPC gas system has been kept at 30 sccm overnight and Jiwan Poudel set up a VNC connection for the DMS, which is intended to be used during target changes. 

Stepan Stepanyan took a look at the beam line vacuum this morning, Calvin, David, and Morgan got the vacuum back in to good condition. 

Following up on the magnetic field scan, will do a HV scan over a fixed magnetic field for the solenoid. Eugene ramped up the Solenoid to 800A (1.68 T). Jiwan and Mohammad will take cosmic data using ctof for the trigger at different HV settings for BONuS12 -RTPC https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3818658 

Fire alarm went off in the hall, but this was due to vapors from one of the beam-line vacuum pumps https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3818612#comment-29088 
This also happened a 2nd time for same reason. 

4 drift gas bottles have been opened for continual usage https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3818614

Swept to prepare to lock up hall. Hall is in beam permit.

The plan for tonight is to take beam to tagger dump and assist if needed for tuning (as mentioned previously), then tune to Faraday cup during day shift tomorrow Aug. 1st.
