Dear All,

I am sending you this email since you expressed interest in being involved
in the development of new fiducial cuts for pass2 data or, as analysis
coordinator of a run group, may know collaborators who would be interested.

As announced last week, part of tomorrow's software meeting will be
dedicated to a possible strategy for defining new fiducial cuts for charged
particles in pass2 data based on trajectory information. The idea is to
develop a generic procedure that could be applied to all data sets (see the
slides at
https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Clas12_software_meetings_2023#November_15.2C_2023
).

This is just the beginning of the work and the discussion will continue in
the next weeks, but I wanted to bring this to your attention since not
everyone may be receiving the software meeting announcements.
