We will meet Monday immediately after the 8am meeting to schedule test plans for
Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday Hall B will be down eight hours for target polarization. Hall A hopes
to have begun taking beam Tuesday owl.

Thursday http://opsweb.acc.jlab.org/CSUEApps/atlis/task/9858 will be run. It
will restrict beam to the injector for four hours.

-------------

My peculiar view of the test plan world:

Assuming hall A can take beam Tuesday they would be happy to have us use our
beam studies time to reduce their Compton counts. The injector work, trying to
understand why the latest Wien flip increased background a factor of forty, is
invasive to both halls. I created a placeholder,
http://opsweb.acc.jlab.org/CSUEApps/atlis/task/9866 Reza and Joe should create
a real plan. It will be needed sometime before June 14, in Hall C if not A.

On Thursday during the power outage Reza and Alicia could continue with
http://opsweb.acc.jlab.org/CSUEApps/atlis/task/9827 . We might then restore
beam to both halls, letting A take data while Alicia works with B on a test of
the hall B orbit lock using the active collimator. Another placeholder
http://opsweb.acc.jlab.org/CSUEApps/atlis/task/9607

Either Tuesday or Thursday pm Mike T. and Ryan B. could tune arcs 3/4 and/or try
out the new harp capability http://opsweb.acc.jlab.org/CSUEApps/atlis/task/9832

Rupesh Silwal wants to run some injector tests with CW beam and the helicity
flipping Pockels cell turned off. These might be run parasitically to B
delivery to the diamond by moving the A laser phase to place it in the C hole
and running 10 uA CW to the BSY dump - for as long as the vacuum there holds
out. I don't know if B needs electron polarization when running off the
amorphous target. If they do, this test is invasive to B. If B doesn't need
electron polarization Rupesh's tests should be OK outside of normal beam studies
time.

My 10 Hz beam motion localization ATLis needs a bug fix in the FAST SEE
software. IOC SE8, the first in the hall A line, will be Brian's test bed for
the changes. http://opsweb.acc.jlab.org/CSUEApps/atlis/task/9849

----------------

If you have a task you believe is more important than any of these, write an
ATLis and come to the meeting Monday.

Jay
