Subject: [BTeam] Status and Monday Day shift anyone?
The push beyond 6R started in earnest Friday Swing with the download of
the 550MeV/linac setup and the machine hardware in place to support beam
to 7R. Authorization to go to 7R dumplet was also received on
Friday. Issues with degenerate kicks, uncooperative hardware and
other sundry issues have made it a tough go, so far.
Tomorrow, it is hoped that RSEP8 box supply will be ready, certified and
we'll be in a position to go to 8R, once/if the 7R setup is complete.
With that said, a LASO for Monday's day shift is needed. Yuhong who
is scheduled to be on shift is on travel. Any volunteers? The shift is
likely to a combination of tunnel access for the remaining work needed
to get to the 5C-dumplet and ORFP work.
