Colleagues,
I updated the wiki page with the minutes (https://accwiki.acc.jlab.org/do/view/BTeam/BTeam20170124).
Also echoed here:
Minutes
* Alexandre Duer presented the 8-week run plan for Hall D (slides on wiki)
* Main points of discussion:
* Asking for 1 nA - 1.5 μA with production running at 200 nA.
* FFB and slow locks ON.
* Tagger quadrupole at -4.2 A for Hodoscope tune.
* Collimator at 5.0 mm for most of run.
* Final focus needs to be on the collimator. Last run the waist was at the radiator because of background issues.
* Start-up discussion:
* Injector beam is matched to inline dump with 10 μA CW run from 3 lasers.
* First beam into NL on Wednesday swing.
* Machine tuning will start with eDT download and follow ORFP. Match at all arcs.
* Third pass beam will be extracted (RF) to Hall B dumplet and matched for upcoming KPP runs to Halls B and C.
* Jay is Optics-on-call for first week. Control room support for the spin-up:
* Thursday Michael
* Friday Yves
* Saturday Todd
* Sunday Mike
* 750 MHz commissioning scheduled for Sunday day/swing.
* Hall D final setup on Monday
* Hall B 3rd pass tune-up 2/1-2/3 with KPP demo to follow setup.
* Hall C 3rd pass tune-up 3/7-3/9 with KPP demo to follow setup.
* Hall A opportunistic run at 1st pass starting on 2/17.
* Hall C wants 5th pass beam starting on 3/16.
* Run ends on 3/23.
* Joe mentioned that Hall C laser needs to be switched to 250 MHz if the 5th pass run during the last week happens.
* Michael mentioned that we need to validate multi-hall optics solution for 3-way vertical split at high energy.
