Thanks to all.
Given this info, perhaps we should just wait until tomorrow morning to lock up the NL.

Hi, Brian,
An overnight lock up of the NLinac is supportable. An entry will be needed Thursday, post pump-down, to check the cryo piping (standard practice), but with the RF being OFF until after 2K is released to OPS, that shouldn’t be a problem.
Plan on it!
Steve

No we cant support a second shift pumpdown tonight. This will be a 4.5K to 2K pumpdown which is longer, more complicated, and requires more cryo support people to be on site than a normal "trip" where we pumpdown from 2K to 2K without large inventory management or stability issues that accompany a 4.5K pumpdown.
As per the agreed and staffed plan we will install two sets of utubes today and let SRF complete the cooldown and filling operations let the metal in the modules cool and stabilize overnight which will help the pumpdown go more smoothly Thursday morning.
Today we can staff to come in and begin the pumpdown earlier tomorrow morning to get ahead. I will work with the team today to arrange it.
Thanks
J

Subject: Re: [BTeam] Schedule so far
So the 1L08 cooldown took roughly 10 hrs.
Just a few questions:
-Is it at all feasible to believe that we could be in a position to do 2K pump down today Swing shift?
-What are the NL tunnel needs today. I understand that the clean room will not be moved until cooldown of 1L09 and 1L10 is completed. We will locking up the SL, BSY, and Inj, as soon as we can. We would like to lock up the NL as well. Would this be reasonably on Swing shift?
We are staffing Day/Swing/Owl shift tonight. We will get at least the SL RF back up, and eagerly awaiting the opportunity to turn on NL RF. Whenever we are able to lock up the NL we will also ramp up box supplies and begin tunnel warm up.
Thanks,
-Brian

We are tripping.
The decision to install utubes comes from SRF. The minute we install the utubes cooldown begins because all valves are assumed to leak.

Subject: Re: [BTeam] Schedule so far
All,
Just wanted to circle up about the schedule coming up.
Beamline and 1L10 girder swap happened today, and from an outsider reading emails and log entries, seemed to go very well.
Tomorrow we are scheduled for the 4K trip, and then U-tubes tomorrow? Final leak checks and final alignment set to occur tomorrow? Does the cooldown start after u-tubes are stabbed, does this happen in parallel with final leak checks and S&A (sorry for not knowing the exact process)? Or does the cooldown begin after all beamline work?
Thanks to folks that came in on Sunday to support this work.
So far the work is going according to the plan we laid out on Friday, so it seems?
For BTeam:
We were able to nearly complete 3 separate Injector Setups in support of the possible Linac Energy options. Thanks to the Injector group who supported this without fail! We still have a little matching work for the OpticLow solution (Graucho). On that note, any movement on an Energy decision, for the Linacs? Do we not have enough information to make this call? If the answer is no, what else do we need?
We in Ops decided to drop the machine for today and tomorrow, but likely will start locking up the machine again Wednesday (TBD). We will be locking up the LERF tomorrow at some point to support additional MPS checks and HCO activities (for anyone interested).
Anything else???
Yves is gone tomorrow, but we can have a short meeting tomorrow at 1:30 for interested parties.
Thanks,
-Brian

Subject: [BTeam] Schedule so far
All,
A subset of BTeam memebers, as well as some folks from Engineering sat down today to understand what the schedule looks like up until Physics start. This includes beam line work of the 1L10 Girder and all of the associated work.
In short, we are on track for Beamline bleed up to occur on Sunday, RadCon will come in Saturday evening after Injector running is over and survey the North Linac and will be dropped to Restricted Access. The SL and BSY will remain locked up until a need is presented.
Here is the web link to what we developed and presented at the meetings today:
http://opsweb/gantt/2019_Fall/fall2019_Shifted-chart.html
I am also attaching a pdf version.
The coordination was important at understanding the overall impact to the Physics start, so thanks to everyone.
