All,
On September 10th we met and discussed lessons learned from the summer 2019 run. I felt we had a productive conversation. Attached you will find a complete brain dump of the discussion. I hope others will help me to develop a list of actions that we can implement for next run.
Yves has asked me to take over BTeam space next week (Tuesday 1:30) to continue this discussion. My plan for the meeting is:
1. Summarize what was discussed
2. Open the floor for further discussion
3. How can we fold the "lessons learned" into our start up and run for the fall?
4. Many of you are helping the Restoration Team Effort to come up with an integrated start up plan so I think this is good place to hash out a plan, and discuss further implementing lessons into the run. Mike Aiken and I attempting to draft a proposed startup schedule, and he will show the draft on Tuesday. It is not meant to encompass a complete list, but is meant to be a starting point for further discussion.
Happy reading and see you at 1:30 on Tuesday!
If any of you actually read the attached document and have corrections or additions, please let me know.
Thanks,
-Brian

Rescheduled the meeting due to absences of key participants.
I'm taking over the space and time used for the B-team meeting

Subject: Lessons learned from the current run
When: Tuesday, September 10, 2019 1:30 PM-2:30 PM.
Where: MCC Conference Room
Before we wrap the up the ongoing run, and while the problems we've faced are still somewhat fresh, we should summarize the lessons we've learned. Here are some categories to consider while you think about improvements we need to make for the future:
* Hardware
* Software
* Procedures
* Documentation
* Communication
* Staffing
* Decision-making
* Planning
If you can't make the meeting please either send me your feedback to be included in our summary, or forward the meeting to someone who can help us for the discussion.
Matt
