Yes, I was just pollshing up my verbiage from my initial optics investigations. Still rather simplistic. I submitted the result seconds after your email arrived. I'll submit it to bteam now, rather than only to the list of folks I was able to recall as already interested.

Subject: [BTeam] 750 MHz test
Good afternoon,
It's getting late in the day, and I haven't heard back from anyone. In my opinion this test is best accomplished after ARC10 is brought online. I'll rewrite the WA scaling ATLis to reflect that change. If Ops has a chance to thread beam to the ARCA dumplet between now and early Monday we're ahead of the game. If not, they can do it first thing Monday morning before we get into the Magnet scaling ATLis and then the Separator test plan that Mark wrote.
In the meantime, Tiefenback can explore the concept of blowing up the ARCA optics to give more signal. If there's a clear path forward on this front it should be presented soon and if adopted, we would avoid the need to scale the WA. With his approach we still need ARC10 anyway.
Thoughts?
Mike
