I’d just like to add in that opportunistic plans could be good as well – especially those that don’t take much time and can be performed by OPS if something happens to the beam.
Cheers!

Subject: [BTeam] no bteam today
Focusing on restoring Hall A at pass 2 quickly (they have to get at least 3 days at 2 pass before we shutdown) and
planning for next run period.
Status:
Hall A reconfiguring for pass 2 kinematics, expected to be ready end of day shift
2L18 is recovered, no loss of gradient.
beam loss investigation (last wed) did not uncover anything untoward, bunchlength was within expectations, steering and aperture as well. We have a meeting with physics at 3pm to discuss and hopefully finalize the energy choice for this summer.
I would urge people to make a list of what we want to measure/do right before the shutdown at 7AM next tuesday. We might be able to squeeze a few hours to do so. (for example start warming up to 4K with the south, buying us a couple of hours to run to inline dump ?)
