[BTeam] proposal for end of Wednesday owl

Hall A is not going to be available for beam most of this week as they are doing a major multi-day reconfiguration, so no to ideas that require beam to hall a for this Wednesday.
The high current beam study to Hall C is ok if it helps, but to be clear Hall A is no going to high currents until after next weekend ( April 28th) as they have lots to do at moderate currents, 10-20 uA once they are at fifth pass. I think part of Eduard 's point from our last discussion was to do the current push on the 28th or 29th with all parties needed for the push available. Of course, knowing in advance how hard/easy that is going to be is great and can help planning .
Just for a little more context, Hall A likely will work its way up in current slowly, just as they been doing at this pass, so do not expect a jump to 50 uA. Expect steps up over the course of many shifts while they optimize their figure of merit.
( 50 uA isn't even that high with hall c running low current, real total current push in the machine is likely when we are running sidis in c with hall a, my current numbers on the calendar for that period are presently messed up and need to be revisited.
Best wishes,
Douglas

Jay,
An excellent idea. Can/should we also take the time to set up FFB for Hal l A? BSList? Who will we the POC?
Ken

Wednesday is a maintenance day. I propose that one hour before we plan
to take beam away from BCD we ask C to pull their target and turn off
all the detector voltages. Then we put as much current as we can into
the C dump. This will may identify RF and optics issues which have to
be addressed before A switches to fifth pass. RF maintenance priorities
could be adjusted. Optics work plans could be developed.
