Here is the BTeam agenda for today and a copy of last week's
minutes. There was quite a lot of work done by optics and support
teams on Sunday and Tuesday in light of high current transport
problems to hall C. I'm out sick today -- Arne or his delegate will
run the meeting.

A long week returning to hall C high current, including
injector
match, diagnostics, and Compton issues. Setup of low current
earlier
than high current may have been an issue in deferring
130->100kV
switch startup issues. BLA system had offset issues that took
a while
to track down, partly because of other BLM activity. BSM was
on;
turned off later on Tue. Tue PM Hall C Compton high
backgrounds
rematched to tune down to ~0.7ish:1 signal/noise. Can run like
this for a while as long as it's stable. Backgrounds rise to
30uA
then seem to level off; counterintuitive? Vacuum rise minimal.
NL phase changed 0.7 degrees off nominal crest during Compton
tuning;
no changes in SL. Anecdotal evidence of energy lock/FFB
indicates ~1mm
horizontal motion with lock on; dispersion leakage or just FFB
target?

But also should be revisited at high current. Did testing
during
break on laser table, adequate for Qweak but analysis
continuing.
Aligned Pockel cell to minimize position differences;
lowered
ringing, should check regularly, might not be stable. Did
standard
HWP scans. When is next cathode heat/activate? Steve seems
to think
this is best done before Hall A comes online in 3 weeks;
Arne thinks
it should be decoupled from schedule.

for
future testing. Should be measured again before we leave 100

does
not work in the 100 kV setup – why not? Are any other
measurements
compromised? Did not stay at 100 kV long enough last time to
include
some Astra simulation setups into the measurement; it still
uses
old settings. Requires ~1-2d office time, ~0.5shift beam
time; is
this worth it for a temporary stay at 100 kV?
