<h2 id="sec-2">1 Tief: C100 and 1L04 gradient calibrations and
phase set issues</h2>
<ul>
<li>Beam time Sat 12 Nov, <a

<li>GSETs calibrated relative to changes in 2L20 energy lock
cavities<br>

<li>Average gradients look good, though with some outliers

<li>Apparent issues with ramping gradients linearly rather than
quadratically with gradient<br>

<li>Did not verify cresting of 1L04 checked cavities, but

<li>Does Krest work on these cavities? Probably not yet.<br>

<li>C100 BBU studies were started last week
(Todd/Ilkyoung/Shahid/Byung/Haipeng/…)<br>

<li>Very low energy setup (16.8 MeV injector) was very smooth
through injector<br>

<li>But it was ultimately abandoned when second pass was not
converging in ORFP<br>
</li>
<li><span class="todo">TODO</span>: Postmortem low-energy
optics tuning to understand optics difficulties<br>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Setup moved to nominal lattice, 281.6 MeV/linac, max current
~80 uA<br>

<li>HOM spectral data surveyed for current dependence for 40/80
uA, C100-1/2, 90/105 deg/cell<br>

<li>Nearly all usable data taken over stable swing/owl shift
pairs Fri-Sun 11-13 Nov<br>

coupling for parity quality measurements</h2>

<li>Results inconclusive due to rather large skew quad settings
needed to fix coupling<br>

show that attempted correction was ineffective<br>

<li>Only convergence in the past required small tweaks to
solution by hand from Jay/Yves<br>
