Just wanted to pull us all together so we are all on the same page for the potential recovery of beam operations when we are able to return to business. If you haven't tuned in, then we are attempting to put together a recovery plan in the event that we return
and we are able to resume a 6 week physics run. Over the last few days we had the bteam meeting and the 1:30 scheduling meeting and I wanted to give a summary of both and make sure we are all on the same page, as well as attach the links to the published version
of the strawman schedule.</div>

<li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">We discussed the path to beam recovery as was done in the Wednesday 1:30 meeting. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">We discussed the need the need to heat reactivate the cathode upon return. This will be driven by the needs of the program. So the APELs for each respective hall are tasked with communicating the
intentions upon beam restoration. What currents and passes (Energy) will they want? When is it, expected upon our return will they be ready for beam, if they want it? </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">We discussed a beam recovery path that first gets the beam back to 5 pass from the last good all save. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">After appropriate Optics checks, and if time permits we will load in optics prepared by Alex to hopefully get better control of the M56 in Arc 1. We had the incorrect body gradient numbers
in the model for Arc 1 upon initial setup and we have lived with it. Tief, suggested that this could be a potential source of the East Arc radiation activation. I would also, like to echo this thought. So, if time permits it is a worth while test, and only
improves our understanding of the model. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">M. Spata brought up the idea of installing additional diagnostics in the east arc to understand the radiation environment, and possibly help with diagnostic information. To this point
I brought up that Joe Grames already has some GM tubes/ Deca Rad placed in the east spreader for the "Ion Gap Clearing Test", which is worth executing when time permits. It is indeed worth thinking about additional diagnostics, or even additional shielding
for current diagnostics at this time (like the 1A SLM). </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style=""> We also briefly discussed the beam transport before and after the C laser seed was swapped out. Looking at the data (Benesch/ Freeman), it looks like there was not a significant improvement to
overall loss in the machine. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">I also, asked if we need to fold in LERF into our recovery plan. The answer was , no, not at this time. Ops staffing will be tight. However, I would like to understand the progress for
beam readiness for the 1 kW run. I also would just like ensure that we are all on the same page for planning. The 1kW run will happen during this 6 week Physics run, correct? </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">I am sure I forgot stuff, so others please feel free to fill in the gaps....<br>

He also, gave big thanks to those folks who have been doing daily walk-throughs and maintaining systems on and off site. Then he graciously handed the PD duties to Paul V. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> Mike Aiken began discussing the startup plan when we (or limited some of us under MEDCON-5) return on-site. The plan is to run a 6 week Physics program upon returning. To my understanding this
is not 100% decided yet, but this is to what we should plan for. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Johnathan had a correction to the plan, as the 2 days prior to restoration they will begin rerouting flows remotely. This will allow the U-tube repair to occur when we return. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">Bob S. suggested that they may need a few days before recovery to do PMs. This was included into the schedule. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">There was some discussion about the need to re-write OSP/ TOSP in light of social distancing and other best practices. Will Oren chimed in and suggested that he had a meeting setup to
discuss weather or not we can have one standing procedure/ OSP to cover this, or is the intention really to re-write all OSPs to encompass the new work habits. Follow-up on this? </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style=""> Jason W. expressed concerns about the need to meet contractors on-site prior to, or in coordination with recovery. Steve responded with, yes we can likely accommodate this, as they are
important contracts. Although, coordinating downtime may be difficult if they don't happen with the first 2 weeks. Question: Any reason this can't be coordinated now? 1 contractor and 1 employee could maintain social distancing now? </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">There was discussion about the insulating vacuum in 2L03 and 1L23 (I think I got these correct). Shouldn't be a show stopper, JT is on tap to take a look at the Agilent turbos upon return.</font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">Then we discussed the need to do 30K or 300K cycles on some zones. Mike Drury expressed that there would not be time for this. He since has asked for some time to characterize the FE on
1L25. Remember this was a great preformer upon installation last year, and has since degraded now. This was put in the plan. </font></li><li style=""><font face="Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="">We ended the meeting with discussion from Andrei, about the lab wide survey that went out last week.
