[Casa] ARC lobby trouble alarm bypassed (see guidance)

Dear colleagues,

Please see the below emails from Evelyn and Tim Menga about the
alarm system in the first floor of the ARC. Particularly note

   FM (JLab facilities) is relying on the fire department to
   respond to alarms... But if staff is on the seventh floor
   and the building fire alarm sounds, staff should exit via
   the stairs as quickly as possible and call the guards
   (extension 5822) as soon as safely possible.

Happy that we can at least hopefully enter and exit the building
in peace for now. Thanks to Evelyn and Tim!

Hey you!

Please let me know if the fire alarm box on the ARC first floor so much as whispers at you.

Please also let CASA staff know that while the alarm is NOT disabled, this action bypasses alerts to the JLab security staff. FM is relying on the fire department to respond to alarms, which I have every reason to believe they will do. But if staff is on the seventh floor and the building fire alarm sounds, staff should exit via the stairs as quickly as possible and call the guards (extension 5822) as soon as safely possible.

To all:

I reached out to Johnson Controls this morning and they sent a Fire Alarm Tech. out and was able to take the annunciator panel located in the lobby of the ARC totally offline. This will require the fire department to respond directly to the main fire alarm panel located in the Command Post. Mike, please advise your guard force of this change in running orders.
