Hi folks,

With IPAC'23 travel on the horizon for some of us, I've got plans
to work on recruitment, outreach, and targeted discussions:

- Outreach for open ERL postdoc position (Alex and I have discussed
one recent graduate who looks promising and is likely to be there)
and other promising young researchers and research areas

- Other EIC position outreach (a topic to raise at the Thu EICPP
   meeting)

- Possible Grunder Fellow outreach (Sergei and I might best discuss
with accelerator division leadership at the Tue May 30 meeting)

- Advertising AccApp (might get a poster from Andrew?)

- Very likely giving Suba's invited talk on EIC crab development
due to visa challenges and no other in-person options; she and
I are meeting Monday to discuss/plan/review.

- Present any posters that folks ask me to present (e.g. Isurumali's;
   are there others?)

- Informal meetings with European colleagues (e.g. Frank Zimmermann,
   Oliver Bruning, Ralph Assmann, etc)

- Visit JACoW office for some advisory meetings for e.g. IBIC'23

Please let me know if there is anyone else you want me to meet with,
or if there are any other specific talks or posters that you are
particularly interested in. Given my connections to the JACoW team,
I can probably get access to presentation materials earlier than
publication. It may be that the Friday pre-press includes some of
the talk PDFs, but I would not bank on it since IPAC'23 is using
a new Indico-based version of SPMS.

I will be in work mode May 4-12, then on vacation in Italy May 13
through 24. Yuhong has graciously agreed to be acting CASA director
while I'm on travel/vacation; thanks, Yuhong!

                                                 -Todd
