Please join me in congratulating Alex Bogacz, who just became an APS
Fellow this year!

Alex was cited for several of his contributions:

   For the development of a broadly adopted novel coupling formalism
   for accelerators, its application to innovative recirculating linac
   designs, and leadership in high-energy recirculating linac design
   for ERLs, muon colliders, and CEBAF upgrades.

Alex was joined by Giorgio Ambrosio and Sam Posen in DPB Fellowship
this year as the three new DPB Fellows. Each year, no more than one
half of one percent of the Society’s membership achieve this
recognition. Alex is joined by our JLab and ODU colleagues Joe
Dudek, Patrizia Rossi, and Gail Dodge who all became DNP Fellows
this year.
