Folks,

As I announced at our last CALCOM meeting, for the next few weeks we will not be meeting on Fridays
at our usual 10 a.m. slot due to the start of the Engineering Run next week. However, I want to alert folks
that we will be having daily analysis meeting at 10 a.m. once the run begins (an email will be sent out
shortly from Nathan Baltzell - our Offline Analysis Coordinator - with details). Members from each of our
subsystem calibration teams should participate so that they know what data runs to calibrate, to report
status/progress on their work, and to be informed of what is going on as we work our way through the
detailed Commissioning plan. Once the subsystem calibrations have been completed for a given run and
the ccdB updated, work on higher-level studies of the data will get underway.

Obviously this is a very busy time in the life of our collaboration and we need to ensure full participation of
our subsystem teams in the calibration and commissioing work. We will need to work quickly and efficiently
to ensure that the detector components are functioning as expected and then that the spectrometer as a
whole (Forward and Central Detectors) is working according to the design. If you have any questions in the
mean time, please let me know and I will do my best to address them.

Regards,
Daniel
