Dear All,
Following thee discussion we had on Friday about a possible shift of reconstructed momenta in the RG-A Fall18 outbending data, I checked the torus settings from the Mya archive. As you can see from the plot below, it seems that between 11/6/2018 and 11/12/2018, even if the torus current setpoint was -3770 A as usual, the MPS readback was -3800 and the hall probe read back was about-3796 A instead of the usual 3766. This is about 1% difference that would explain the missing mass shift observed by Geraint in the 2pi channel and the sampling fraction shift observed by Cole.
>From Mya, it seems everything went back to normal on 11/12 at 1pm. The runs affected by this potential shift are 5422 to 5476.
