Folks,
Due to the ongoing CLAS Collaboration meeting this week, we will not have a CALCOM meeting on Friday. We can
expect to resume our usual meetings next week. In terms of a brief progress update to keep everyone up to date:
1) RG-B Spr19:
- Pass-2 readiness review held last Friday went well; the main remaining work before cooking is to complete all validation
studies for the pass-2 reconstruction code.
- Finishing up last calibration work to address remaining issues.
2) RG-A Spr19:
- New pass-0/timelines in progress with 8c.3.2 to check effect on calibrations; timelines to be reviewed to see if any
additional calibration work is needed.
- Submitted additional 15 runs for cooking for CVT reconstruction checks.
- Work to study the cooked runs in progress to complete pass-2 vs. pass-1 studies.
- Plan to schedule the pass-2 readiness review soon.
3) RG-K:
- Alignment of CVT is nearly done - plan to run pass-0 soon for initial calibration assessment
4) RG-C:
- Calibration in progress for recent run with reversed solenoid field - found issue with CVT reconstruction that is being
addressed; when new tag is available, calibration of reversed solenoid field run will continue
- Alignment of CVT is nearly done - plan to run pass-0 soon for the FT-On portion of the run to start the calibration process
5) RG-M:
- Initial round of FTOF calibration completed (35 runs). Re-running pass-0/timelines for FTOF assessment (second round of work
will likely be needed before working on other systems.
- Start to push on advancing DC calibrations.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Daniel
