I would like to update the Commissioning Plan to </div><div class="">lay out a roadmap for the remainder of our commissioning beam time for the second </div><div class="">half of the Engineering Run nominally scheduled for Jan. 12-30, 2018.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">We have been maintaining a spreadsheet of the run list from the December portion</div><div class="">of the Engineering Run at:</div><div class=""><a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1frfBlq51qDXZD6fW5rcRefNXSGdVvdMozKUlAVNoUGc/edit?usp=sharing" class="">https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1frfBlq51qDXZD6fW5rcRefNXSGdVvdMozKUlAVNoUGc/edit?usp=sharing</a></div><div class="">This list details the conditions under which the data was taken. In order to proceed to </div><div class="">develop a complete plan for the remainder of our commissioning period, I would like </div><div class="">all subsystem teams to communicate what conditions remain to be studied that have </div><div class="">not yet been addressed to complete the data taking necessary to fully characterize their</div><div class="">subsystems. Please send me complete details this week. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Note that we still have yet to take data for </div><div class="">1) the FT due to the hardware issues with the system (that are currently being worked on)</div><div class="">2) the alignment of the Forward Detectors and Central Detectors at zero field</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">We have already completed a sizable fraction of the Phase 1 beamline commissioning</div><div class="">plan and the Phase 2 CLAS12 commissioning plan as detailed in the existing Commissioning</div><div class="">Plan (these plans are detailed under the “Procedures” column at:</div><div class=""><a href="https://wiki.jlab.org/clas12-run/index.php/Engineering_Run" class="">https://wiki.jlab.org/clas12-run/index.php/Engineering_Run</a>)</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">It is important for the subsystem teams to look in detail at their subsystems through the</div><div class="">December data to understand their performance in beam. If you have questions related to</div><div class="">the offline cooking or need special data skims, please contact Francois. Preliminary data</div><div class="">investigations and calibrations should be completed with constants entered into the ccdb </div><div class="">during the course of this week. All subsystem teams should have representation at the daily </div><div class="">10 a.m. analysis meetings to give reports and to provide feedback on their detectors.
