[Clas12_dileptons] Support slides for Jeopardy

Hi,

Very nice slides! I include a few suggestions for typos below.

The slides show all the great progress, but in the context of a jeopardy document, the only point where there is an explicit statement about the need for more data is the point
"To meaningfully contribute into GPD extraction, more data bins with smaller uncertainties in Q'2 and s are needed,” and
"CLAS12 needs more data to verify the flattening behavior at high –t."

While this is true, perhaps the key question would be whether we have the data that we were approved for, and while the large error bars motivate that we have the opportunity to collect the full data set. The D-term was a key goal of the proposal, and while we were not presenting a forward-backward asymmetry at the time, I seem to recall that the assumption on the number of events was much higher. While this does not only depend on beam time, but also reconstruction efficiency, etc, the beam time plays a significant role.

In the proposal the impact of TCS on GPD extraction was a secondary goal, since from Michel Guidal’s studies it looked like impact would be small, and this is probably still true. Thus, it may be risky to make this the main argument. And perhaps additional statistics for a more precise extraction of the GFFs would sound more compelling than a cross check of the high-t GlueX data? I don’t know when you need to submit the slides, but id you get a chance, perhaps you could think a little if the motivation for the beam time request could be made a little stronger?

Typos:

Outnebding —> Outbending

First TCS measurement is in favor of universalities of GPDs
- “in favor of” sounds a bit odd. Perhaps
First measurement to study the universality of GPDs by comparing TCS and DVCS

TCS data is —> TCS data are; include D-term —> include the D-term

allows access gluon GFFs —> allows access to gluon GFFs

Best,

Pawel

Hi All,
I have some comments.
To make the statement more clear on the first page I suggest to add
Exclusivity is achieved through missing four momentum of the scattered electron.
You have space for one more line.
Page 2.
CFF --> Compton Form Factors (CFFs). There is place in that line
GFF--> Gravitational Form Factors (GFFs)
regards,
valery

Hello all,

Rafo and I reworked the slides. The new version is attached.
Please provide comments on this new version.

Best
Pierre

Hello all,

I prepared two summary/support slide for J/psi and TCS based on the Jeopardy document that we prepared about a month ago
[https://res-h3.public.cdn.office.net/assets/mail/file-icon/png/pptx_16x16.png]PAC52 Template.pptx<https://jeffersonlab-my.sharepoint.com/:p:/g/personal/rafopar_jlab_org/ETwommfsMYRLtJ5ysWOItycBy8vCS0WRgc11PxFrt9wI0g?e=tRLrD1>

The space is quite limited (2 slides) and I could put limited information only.
Please let me know your comments.

We have to send this to Latifa by June 12.

Thanks,
Rafo
