Richard,
Here are some comments.
- line 28, this is not a true statement. The threshold for open charm production is higher than the threshold of direct J/psi production. The most of the phenomenology behind gGFFs is near direct production threshold.
- line 38, remove “p” after “J/\psi’
- line 67, “detect and identify neutrals and electrons”.
- line 86, are you using the same MLA that Mariana worked on? I believe she does not have HTCC photoelectrons in the classifier.
- line 95, is this correct? I believe the default is the first layer of the stack (PCal, ECIn, and ECOut)
- line 103, will be good to add the section formula (four vectors) and how Q2 is calculated.
- line 103, why not just “the mass of missing particle”, remove “invariant"
- What are Q2 and MM cut values?
- line 139, the second sentence of this paragraph seems redundant
- line 147, some thing is wrong with this sentence, add “shown" before “in” at the end of the line.
- I agree with Bryan about your figure 4. You can just say that these results are consistent with proton data from CLAS12 and GlueX, without showing a comparison plot.
Regards, Stepan

Hi All,
As you may know, Patrick asked for results from RG-B that he can show at the International Conference on Beauty, Charm, Hyperons in Hadronic Interactions (BEACH 2024)<https://indico.fnal.gov/event/62069/>. After speaking with Maxime, he asked me to produce a (short) release note. This is attached, any feedback is welcome.
Maxime asked me to present the note at the DWPG tomorrow. Sorry for the short notice in having a look over the note, I was also only asked to do this yesterday! I don't think there's anything especially new or controversial so please don't feel like you have to review this in a great amount of detail.
For convenience, I've attached the two main plots. First the cross section in AU for J/psi produced on proton and neutron. This has been updated with all three available RG-B datasets, and contains the same information as the previous plot that I circulated.
Second a comparison between RG-A, RG-B and Gluex. This is not intended for release, and is clearly marked as such in the plot and in the note. The reason why I included it in the note is that I assume one of the first questions I will get is on the consistency with RG-A. As my analysis is not as far along as Pierre's, and in order to make a sensible comparison to RG-A, I used the same radiative corrections and normalisation that Pierre extracted for the RG-A analysis. As you can see, there is a relatively good agreement between RG-A and RG-B which shows consistency between the analyses. I wasn't sure if this would be appropriate in the note, so please let me know if you think I should remove this and I will do so.
Thanks in advance for having a look over this and for your comments!
Cheers,
Richard
