[Clas12_first_exp] CLAS12 First Experiment 02/5/2020

Dear all,

Here is a brief update and the focus of our meeting next Wednesday:


The Software group has successfully completed and tagged a new release 
6b.5.0 (01/31/2020),  and Raffaella has processed two reference runs 
5038 (RGA- Inbending 10.4 GeV) and 5893 (RGK-6.5 GeV) for calibration of 
the central detector. Our goal for next Wednesday meeting is to 
completethe calibration of the CD with the new releasefor these 2 
reference runs and confirm that no changes in the FD reconstruction and 
no new calibration needed for the FD. We will review the 
comparison/improvement between the current release COATJAVA 6b.4.1 and 
the new 6b.5.0 overall but with a special  focus on central tracking , 
this will be our first step validation towards our readiness for pass1.


We will keep you updated as soon as data is available with new release 
and new calibration of the CD, in order to proceed with validation using 
physics processes.


I also sent an email to Stepan and Kyungseon requesting the review for 
February 21 as we discussed at our meeting last week.
