Dear all,
We had our Pass1 Review for RGA today. The committee does not see any
issues for starting pass1 on Friday March 13 as we proposed. However
they want us to demonstrate the quality of the detector calibration as
function of time in quantitative way. They would like to officially
approve our pass0 analysis from the calibration point of view prior to
staring pass1. This follow up review is scheduled for Monday March 9th,
more on this once we get the final report. For now please block your
calendar for Monday March 9th from 14:00 to 16:00.
I would like to thank all the presenters from this morning, and everyone
from the CLAS12 First Experiment both RGA and RGK for the hard work for
the past 3 weeks. You can find all the slides on our CLAS12 First
Experiment DOC-DB. Great Team Work!
*Status and next steps*
* Software team ready to tag a new release including fixes based on
the input from pre-release 6b.5.1 validation & analysis results (
see Raffaella's slides from this morning)
* DC new optimized constants were derived and will be included in new
pass0
* FT calibration of additional identified runs is being completed
* FTOF calibration for the initial group of runs of the RGA - Fall 2018
* EC/PCAL new improved constants will put in this evening
As soon as all of the items above are implemented we will proceed with
another pass0. In order for us to meet the Monday 9th deadline we ill
need to submit the new pass0 no later than tomorrow evening.
I am scheduling meeting with Raffaella, Dan, Nick, Veronique and Taya
this afternoon to make sure that we are ready to go this weekend.
Best regards,
Latifa
