Dear Sangbaek,

I very much appreciate the work you are doing on the DVCS analysis. This is a very detailed simulation/analysis that
is needed for your project.

What Maxime showed yesterday is part of Guillaume’s PhD work related to a paper on the beam-spin asymmetry (BSA), where he showed simulations from what he called “toy model”. Although Maxime may also want to perform more detailed simulations, the demands on simulations to extract the BSA are significantly less compared to what you are dealing with, the extraction of normalized cross sections.

It is nice to see that you are making great progress on this very demanding project. I think your effort will become a show case (and perhaps model for other to follow) of what is required in terms of simulation work needed for a highly demanding physics analysis.
