[Clas12_first_exp] CLAS12 First Experiment Meeting Canceled – RGA Status & Updates

Dear All,

There will be no meeting tomorrow. Below is an update on the RGA status:

  *   RGA Spring 2018 data processing:
The indending portion (representing about one-third of the RGA data) has been completed. Train production has been relaunched after an initial error. We will keep everyone informed once the trains become available.
  *
Fall 2018 and New Tracking:
     *   Pass0 processing is currently underway.
     *   A single test run related to the FC issue has been launched to investigate the discrepancy between the two software versions.
  *   Common Analysis Note and Procedures for RGA Pass2 Data Analysis:
     *
Timothy has been leading this effort with valuable contributions from Pierre, Krishna, Stefan, Sangbaek, Richard, and others.  The recommendations for fiducial cuts (FT, ECal, DC, CVT), as well as additional efficiency and data/MC matching cuts are almost final.
     *   Timothy is finalizing the plots and preparing a summary of the work.
     *   The next step involves working with Chris to implement these procedures into Iguana, with Pierre taking the lead on this integration.
     *
Following that, we will focus on energy loss corrections, and then move on to the analysis of other kinematical corrections and common studio of systematic uncertainties.

     *
Note: this work will be presented and discussed with the entire group before it is considered final.
