[Clas12_first_exp] Updates & Next Steps – No Meeting Tomorrow or Next Week

Dear All,

We will not hold a meeting tomorrow or next week due to the APS and DIS conferences.
Updates:

  1.  Testing of New Processed Files:
You have all received the processed files from RGA with the new software from Timothy. Please test them on your specific physics processes and provide a quantitative comparison with previous pass2 results. Your feedback is crucial in determining whether we should proceed with recooking the RGA data.
  2.
Pass0 for RGA Spring 2018:
The final Pass0 for Spring 2018 just completed with the corresponding timeline once signed off by system experts, we will seek authorization from the review committee to initiate data processing.
  3.
Pass2 Data – Cuts & Corrections:
Significant progress has been made by different groups in refining the cuts and corrections for  RGA Pass2 data. Our goal is to standardize these tools/improvements, so they are consistent across all physics analyses. We will discuss that at our upcoming meetings.
